In
this article we will discuss some useful
commands in CADopia.
The REGENAUTO command (Regenerate Automatically):
The REGEN command regenerates, or reproduces,
the current viewports, and recalculates
the screen location of all entities. But
the REGENAUTO command regenerates the current
viewport at intervals specified by the
program when you set to ON. This command
avoids frequent use of the REGEN command
and also saves time. To save time when
you are working in a large drawing, turn
REGENAUTO off. |

In

started using AutoLISP in CADopia. First,
we'll define a simple program and then

AutoLISP program with more features. Finally,
we'll discuss how to use the program in
CADopia.
Creating a channel program:
Let's create an AutoLISP program that draws
a Channel. The program will prompt the
user for the Vertical Length, Horizontal
width, Thickness and the insertion point
of the Channel. The program will then calculate
the coordinates of the 7 other corners
of the channel, based on the user's input. |
