Sometimes you may want to print a rendered view in CADopia. In this article, we will learn how to accomplish this. Simply using the print command will not allow you to get the hard copy of a rendered view. Instead, you have to export the image to a different file format altogether. A rendered view can be exported in Windows Bitmap (.bmp), PostScript (.ps), and TIFF (.tif) formats. After exporting it, you can print the image by opening it in any application such as MS Paint, Adobe Photoshop.
Follow the below steps to export the rendered view.
- Do one of the following:
- Choose View > Rendering > Render Settings.
- On the Rendering toolbar, click the Render Settings tool ().
- Type “SETRENDER” and then press Enter.
Click on the Export tab.
Click the Browse button to select a path, enter a file name, and select a format of output from the ‘Save as type’ drop down list.
Now the Render and Full Render buttons will become active. Enter the desired width and height in pixels.
And from the Render to file area, click Render or Full Render, and then click OK.
This will render the current view to the specified image file.
Note that photorealistic rendering is supported in the CADopia Premium and Professional editions only.
