CADopia 6 SP3 is now shipping
True Color Support CADopia now supports over 16 million true color variations. Instead of choosing from 256 standard colors, you can now use True Color to get the exact shade you need. It now supports Color book also. You can choose colors from standard color books (such as Pantone or RAL). Using True Color and Color books makes it easier to match colors in your drawing with colors of actual materials. You can create a Color book folder, save the downloaded .acb files into the Color book folder and can specify the path in CADopia Options > Paths/Files. This loads the .acb files automatically and efficiently. 
Direct Insert of pre-drawn part drawings CADopis 6 SP3 allows direct insert of several hundred thousand standard pre-drawn CAD parts from over 150 top US manufacturers via a partnership with ThomasNet CADRegister.com. Adobe Acrobat PDF file CADopia 6 SP3 allows you to select either the active layout or ALL layouts to Export as PDF file. Using this facility you have full control of your confidential drawing while sharing it with others. There are other additional options which are now available for exporting the .dwg file in a PDF file in a more organized manner. 
3D DWF Support Now, the 3D drawings can be viewed using the 3D DWF Export option. allowing you another mehtod to share your drawings with others in a secure manner. DWF files allow you to distribute your drawing to others for viewing in a Web browser. DWF files can be viewed in a Web browser if a DWF Viewer is also installed on the computer. 
Enhanced entity snaps The existing Intersection Snap has a new Extended option, which snaps to the logical location where two entities would intersect if they were of infinite length. The new Apparent Intersection Snap tool snaps to the intersection of two entities that are not in the same plane but seem to intersect in the current view. You can also use its Extended option, which snaps to the logical location where two entities would intersect if they were of infinite length. 
Enhanced Text editing in the command line Text editing in the command line window is more user friendly. You can do the following in the command line window:
Drawing Preview Previewing the drawing as a thumbnail image gives you a snapshot of the drawing before actually opening it. Also, before opening a large drawing, you can use a drawing preview to ensure that it is the right file. Mtext formatting enhancements More formatting options with Mtext are now available which facilitates fast and smooth text entry. 
Wipeout entity support Wipeout entity support has been incorporated in CADopia 6 SP3 release. Wipeouts are unique entities that can help you hide areas of your drawing. They display with the current background color, so the details behind the wipeout do not display or print. This feature is supported in the Premium and the Professional Eidtion only. 
COM API enhancements New objects, methods and properties are supported to enable more user level customization of CADopia. Performance enhancements In CADopia 6 SP3 you will find an overall improvement in opening files, zoom, pan, redraw and regen operations. General functionality improvements Many other functionality improvements have been made in CADopia 6 SP3 based on the feedback we receive from our customers. |
