 CADopia.com Announces Licensing of Microsoft VBA SAN DIEGO, California - 7/24/00 - CADopia.com LLC, a leading provider of IntelliCAD® 2000 software, today announced the licensing of Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for inclusion into the IntelliCAD 2000 by CADopia (Professional edition) product. The integration of VBA into the CADopia product will provide CADopia’s customers and channel partners with the industry standard development environment to easily extend, customize and integrate IntelliCAD 2000 with other applications. Using IntelliCAD 2000 by CADopia with VBA 6.0 support, customers and channel partners will be able to leverage their applications to more rapidly deliver solutions to their customers. CADopia expects a strong response to the product, both from the more than 60,000 existing CADopia users in 80 countries and from new customers. The product allows developers to redistribute key elements royalty-free with their products, including the new plug-in, various class libraries and the Microsoft virtual machine, which has been designated the official Reference Implementation of Java for the Windows platform.
